This vintage Horsebit Reference 1500 features Gucci's signature horsebit design clasp, a black dial and gold-plated case and bracelet. This classic designer watch doubles as a bangle and a wristwatch. The clean, simple design makes it an everyday go-to piece. The dial is black with no hour markers and the "GUCCI" logo is near the top. The rectangular case is shiny gold plated with a narrow, fixed bezel. The bracelet has a high polish and tapers from the lugs toward the center back. The secure ladder clasp sports Gucci's signature horsebit design. The clasp fastens securely and allows for two size adjustments. Case size 12mm wide x 24mm long x 5mm deep, quartz movement.
New Battery installed today (4/10/2025)
Best guess is that this is a 1990s version. The clear Gucci sticker is still on the back of the numbered case.
The Serial Number is visible: 1074511
No box and the paperwork is long since gone as the original owner has passed away.
Verbally Authenticated at Snowden Jewelers while getting the battery replaced. Battery type is 321.
Watch weighs about 1 ounce and movement is smooth.
In good condition with some light signs of use and some faint scratches on the case upon close inspection.
